Share Kit is the library of ready-to-share social posts that church members can use on their own networks. A Share Kit must pass approval before members can see it. This is separate from an Outreach campaign: Outreach can generate a kit from its campaign page, while this guide covers managing kits in the Share Kit module. You need Share Kit creation access to create kits, manage Brand templates, or use Campaigns. If an action is missing, contact your church administrator.

Create a Share Kit

  1. Open Share Kit and select New share kit.
  2. Enter a Title.
  3. Under Captions, write the required Generic caption. It is the fallback shown when a platform-specific caption is not provided.
  4. Select the WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, X, or LinkedIn caption tab to add an optional version for that platform. An empty platform caption inherits the Generic caption.
  5. Add an optional Link.
  6. Choose any Suggested channels for members to post this kit to. You can still write platform-specific captions in the caption tabs.
  7. Optionally select a Brand template and upload an image. The available image types are JPEG, PNG, WebP, or GIF, up to 10 MB. A selected template applies the church logo, colors, watermark, and layout to the image during upload.
  8. Set Available from and Expires at if members should only see the published kit during a specific window.
  9. Select Save draft to continue editing later, or Save & submit to send it for approval.
You can use the AI tools in the caption editor to draft a caption, adapt a caption for other platforms, or compose a generic caption with platform versions. The image tool can draft an image from your prompt when available. Review AI output before submitting it.

Follow the approval lifecycle

Use the Status filter to find kits by lifecycle state, or the Availability filter to find published kits that are Active, Scheduled, Expired, or Archived. These filters work one at a time.
  • Draft: continue editing, then select Submit for approval or Save & submit.
  • Pending approval: the kit is waiting in Approvals. You can use Withdraw to return it to an editable state.
  • Rejected: open and edit the kit, then submit it again. Read any reviewer note before resubmitting.
  • Published: members can see the kit according to its availability window. Published captions and images are locked; you can adjust availability with Schedule or use Archive to remove it from circulation.
  • Archived: the kit is no longer available to members.
If Available from is empty, a published kit becomes available right away. It stops being available after Expires at. Changing the availability window on a published kit does not require another approval. For the approval decision, use the Approvals area in the portal; see Web portal modules.

Create a brand template

Use Brand templates to make reusable designs for uploaded Share Kit images.
  1. From Share Kit, select Brand templates, then New brand template.
  2. Give the template a Name and optional Description.
  3. Choose a layout, logo variant, background, accent and text colors, font, and optional watermark text and opacity.
  4. Set whether the template is the default, review the preview, and save it.
When creating a kit, choose the template before uploading an image so the design is applied to that image. A brand template styles the image; it does not replace the kit’s title, captions, link, approval, or availability settings.

Organize a Share Kit campaign

Campaigns in Share Kit organize existing kits into a coordinated post series. They are different from Outreach campaigns, which track ministry activity and private contacts.
  1. From Share Kit, select Campaigns and create a series with its name, description, shared goal, audience, dates, and optional default brand template.
  2. Open the campaign and use Add a post to select an existing ShareKit. Add an optional label and editorial schedule, then add it to the Post series.
  3. Use the arrows to change the order of posts, adjust an item’s scheduled slot, or remove a post from the series. Removing a post from the series does not delete the ShareKit itself.
  4. Update the series status as the plan changes. A completed or archived series is locked for editing.
The schedule in a Share Kit campaign is an editorial slot. Each included ShareKit still follows its own approval and availability settings; adding it to a series does not publish it automatically. For an event-specific post, you can also create a Share Kit from the event’s Share kits section. See Manage an event.
